Stephen Caudel was born in Sheffield, Yorkshire, England. Regular visits to Sheffield City Hall to see touring bands such as Genesis, Yes and ELP engendered an early passion for Progressive / Symphonic Rock music. Advanced music studies at the City of Leeds College of Music provided the opportunity for Stephen to learn the complexities of orchestration which would later prove valuable in the creation of his first Rock Symphony: 'Wine Dark Sea' and later 'The Earth in Turquoise'. Stephen Caudel has also written several large scale orchestral works. |
